- Double and triple trailer bottom dump truck also has bottom dump gate just like the semitrailer. However it is almost impossible to maneuver this type in reverse direction. This is because it has additional two or three extra trailers attached to it.
- Side dump truck has 3 axle tractor pulling 2 axle semi-trailer. It hydraulic rams tilt its dump box sideward; thus its name.
- Off-road dump truck looks like an engineering vehicle or a heavy construction equipment. It is use for mining industries and is a “strictly off-road” vehicle.
