In a no win situation need advice?
I bought half of a landscaping business for $12000, only to find out my "partner" bought the entire business for $6000 from his boss who was moving to another state. He pocketed the rest. He sold a company pick up truck and pocketed that. We bought a Mitsubishi Fuso 4x4 dump truck. I've had to make all but 3 payments out of my own pocket. I've paid for the ins. and other expenses. My "partner" barters for stuff, major dental work, chiropractor, lodging(1000 a month). He does jobs on the side. There is very little money that makes it to the business. Every time I deposit a check from a client that is needed to buy materials he uses it as his personal account making ATM withdrawls for ??? using it for cigarettes, dinners, etc. I am fed up with this. I am in debt in the amt of 30000 thanks to him and I don't know what to do. I TRIED SELLING THE TRUCK, NO TAKERS. As of today I am not depositing anything in the account. I am thinking about going to a lawyer.

You should indeed go straight to a lawyer. Your "partner" cannot legally just take money out of the business and spend it without accounting for it. If you are REALLY mad at him, skip the lawyer and go straight to the IRS. They are VERY good at straightening out that sort of behaviour! LOL...
